Build a Striker: every slot and weight, what wins Golden Boots and Ballons d'Or, the Hall of Fame math, and the best strikers posted

Real attacker ratings, an 18-year-old start, a World Cup every fourth season. Finishing and Pace are the engine; everything else is how long you get to run it.

The short version

  • Finishing and Pace weigh 1.2; Shot Power, Dribbling, Passing and Clutch 1.1; Heading and Physical 1.0; Frame only 0.7, the lightest slot on the site.
  • Careers start at 18 and last until roughly 30 + a slice of Physical and Frame (26 to 40). Physical is the longevity slot.
  • Goals drive the Hall (up to 36 points for goals past 120), a World Cup is worth 9 points, a Ballon d'Or 15.
  • Automatic Hall of Fame: 600 goals, or 3 Ballons d'Or, or 2 World Cups, or a Ballon d'Or with 2 Champions Leagues.
  • The all-time #1 is a 113. Legends (Pelé, Gerd Müller, Maradona, Beckham, Messi) fill 32% of top-40 slots.

Frame is height on a gentle curve (about 1.5 points per inch). At 0.7 weight it is the parking spot for whatever card you cannot use, and no other game on the site weighs a slot this low.

What lands

  • Attackers only (ST, CF, LW, RW, CAM), about 560 in the pool plus 38 icon legends, ratings from EA Sports FC stretched at the top so elite players separate.
  • 4% Legend, 5% Prime, otherwise tier-weighted. One Re-spin, one Boost, one Snag per build.
  • No Shiny Spin here; that is a Build a Batter thing.

What the career sim rewards

  • Goals come from Finishing, Shot Power and Pace; assists from Passing and Dribbling. Together they drive nearly every award.
  • Career length: 30 + 0.055 × (Physical − 55) + 0.02 × (Frame − 60), clamped 26 to 40. Physical is the slot that buys extra seasons.
  • World Cup every fourth season (the first at your ninth year). Two World Cup wins alone put you in the Hall.
  • Hardware in the Hall score: Ballon d'Or 15, World Cup 9, Champions League 4.5, Golden Boot 2.5, league title 1.6, Rookie of the Year 1.5, All-Star 0.7.
  • One injury per career at most; the same decision-event engine as every other career sim (media, shoe deal, the presser, national team, mentor, free agency, twilight).

The Hall of Fame

Automatic: 600+ goals, or 3+ Ballons d'Or, or 2+ World Cups, or 1 Ballon d'Or with 2+ Champions Leagues.

Otherwise the score is goals past 120 × 0.08 (capped at 36), assists past 80 × 0.035 (capped at 10), plus hardware and rating points, rolled against (score − 44) / 32. Verdicts: 🐐 G.O.A.T. (Hall with a 99+ build), 🏆 Hall of Fame, ⚽ Hall of Goal Hangers (400 goals, 250 assists or 800 apps in two milestone clubs, but no Hall), Hall of Pretty Good (80+), Hall of Mid (72+), Hall of Not Good. The vote line: 75 + 0.18 × (score − 78) + 1.2 per Ballon d'Or, first ballot at 90% or three Ballons d'Or.

Best builds from the leaderboard

The highest-rated strikers ever posted, pulled 2026-08-25 from 73,012 builds. The pattern: legends in Finishing, Dribbling and Clutch (Müller, Pelé, van Basten, Maradona, Messi), current speed merchants in Pace (Vini Jr., Mbappé, Dembélé), Beckham and Wirtz in Passing.

Tips

  • Finishing and Pace are the two slots that matter. Spend Re-spin and Boost there.
  • Frame is a throwaway. At 0.7 weight, a 60 in Frame costs you less than a 90 in Finishing gains you. Park the weakest card.
  • Physical is longevity, not OVR. A 90 Physical adds about two seasons, and every extra season is 40 more goals toward the 600 auto-induction.
  • Play for the flag. The World Cup fires every fourth year; a long career sees three or four of them, and two wins alone make the Hall.

Leaderboard

Sorted by OVR; also Goals, Assists, Rating, UCLs and Ballons d'Or. The daily alternates with Build a Keeper: striker one day, keeper the next.
